Snow Chicken

this snow chicken took me about an hour to
sculpt from snow. it stands four feet tall.

my technique is to make a giant mound
of snow and carve it out with my hands.
carving the snow can get very tedious when
carving out features that have
little support under them.
like the tail. the tip sticks out quite
a bit with nothing under it to keep it up.
